Independent guides to AI tools for working professionals · No paid rankings · Every source linked

Editorial Policy

The Professions Cloud publishes independent, research-based guides to AI tools for specific professions. This policy explains how they're made and how we keep them honest.

Independence

  • No paid placements. Vendors can't buy a review, a ranking or a mention.
  • No pre-approval. Vendors never see or approve an article before publication. We may contact them to confirm a fact, like a price.
  • Affiliate links don't decide rankings. We earn commissions from some links (disclosure). Tools are ranked by our research criteria, including tools that pay us nothing.

Sourcing standards

  • Every factual claim (prices, features, legal requirements, statistics) links to its source. Each article ends with a numbered list of sources.
  • We prefer primary sources: vendor pricing pages, statutes, MLS rules, official association guidance. When we rely on a secondary summary, we say so.
  • User opinions come from public reviews and professional forums. We paraphrase and link to them, and we never fabricate quotes or reviewers.
  • When sources disagree, we show the disagreement instead of picking the convenient number.

Who writes and reviews

Guides are published under the The Professions Cloud Editors byline (about the editorial team). Guides on regulation (Fair Housing, MLS rules, telemarketing law, data privacy) are checked against primary sources. Where possible they're reviewed by a licensed professional, who is named on the page.

How we use AI

We write about AI tools, and we use them where they genuinely help: summarizing long documents, organizing research notes, checking structure and grammar. A person chooses the sources, verifies every fact against them, makes every judgment and ranking, and edits every sentence before it's published. We don't publish unreviewed AI text, and we don't present AI-generated images as real product screenshots.

Updates and corrections

  • Each guide shows an Updated date and a Prices and facts checked date. We only change dates when we actually re-checked or changed something.
  • Significant changes are logged in a changelog at the bottom of the article.
  • Found an error? Contact us. We aim to correct verified errors within 2 business days.

Not professional advice
