Short answer: for a solo or small-agency recruiter, Juicebox is the easiest place to start: natural-language candidate search, a free tier, and paid seats from about $99 a month. In-house teams that want sourcing, CRM and an ATS in one platform should look at Gem, which is free for six months for companies under 30 employees. If you'd rather hand sourcing to a service with humans in the loop, Fetcher starts at $115 a month.

Prices checked October 13, 2026 on Juicebox, Gem and Fetcher.

1. Juicebox: best for solo and small-agency recruiters

Price: Free (one seat, 5 one-off contact credits), Starter at about $99–$119 per seat per month (500 contact and export credits a month, one mailbox), Growth at about $179–$199 (up to 5 seats, 1,500 credits per seat) and custom Business plans. Agents are a $199/month add-on (Juicebox pricing). The page shows two price sets without clear monthly and annual labels, so confirm at checkout.

Juicebox's PeopleGPT lets you describe the candidate you want in plain English and builds the search for you, then drafts outreach. It's the fastest way for a one-person desk to get AI sourcing without a sales call. We found no public reviews on its Trustpilot page yet (Trustpilot), so lean on the free tier to judge result quality. The catch: ATS and CRM integrations sit on higher tiers, so on Starter you'll be exporting candidates by hand.

2. Gem: best all-in-one for in-house teams

Price: custom, based on company headcount, in two shapes: Gem + your ATS or Gem All-in-One (with a built-in ATS). Companies under 30 employees get All-in-One free for six months, then 50% off. The startup plan for 1–10 FTE shows $130 a month on yearly billing (Gem pricing).

Gem combines an AI sourcing agent searching 800M+ profiles, multi-channel outreach sequences, talent pools, scheduling and pipeline analytics. AI features need an "AI-powered seat," so check which seats you're quoted. For a growing company hiring steadily, it can replace several tools at once.

3. Fetcher: best done-for-you sourcing

Price: Self-serve $115/month, Growth $379 and Amplify $649, with 30% off on annual billing. Enterprise is custom (Fetcher pricing).

Fetcher mixes automation with people. Every plan includes a 500M+ candidate database and email outreach, and Amplify adds a dedicated sourcer for roughly 4–6 roles plus a success team. Sourced-candidate limits rise by tier, from up to 500 a year on Self-serve. There's no free trial: you start with a demo.

Which should you choose?

If you... Choose
Work solo or in a small agency and want to start today Juicebox
Run in-house hiring at a growing company Gem
Want sourcing done partly for you Fetcher (Amplify)

Sourcing vs screening: using AI to find candidates carries far less legal risk than using it to score, rank or reject them. If any tool filters candidates automatically, check the AI hiring laws in NYC, Illinois and Colorado.

FAQ

Is Juicebox better than LinkedIn Recruiter?

They do different jobs. Juicebox searches across public profiles with natural-language queries and costs far less to start, while LinkedIn Recruiter gives direct InMail access to LinkedIn's network. Many agencies use both.

Do AI sourcing tools count as "automated employment decision tools"?

Pure sourcing (finding and contacting people) generally isn't scoring or ranking for a hiring decision. If a tool ranks or screens candidates and that substantially drives who advances, NYC's Local Law 144 may apply (NYC DCWP).

Which tool has a free option?

Juicebox has a permanent free tier, and Gem is free for six months for companies under 30 employees.
